From the CEO's Office

NAO 2015 Spring Business Summit

Only five (5!) weeks to go until the inaugural NAO Business Summit on Orlando, Florida this May! Register and make your reservations here:

I'm getting excited about the Summit, and so should you. Beyond a dynamic and customized pre-conference grant-writing workshop and what promises to be a great day of skill building, we also will hold the first ever NAO "Marketplace", which is now at NO- COST! I'm thrilled about this! Be sure to register for a booth:

The Marketplace is designed for fast-tracking exploration and contracting of “deployment ready” AHEC-related products and services. It also allows the opportunity for AHECs to license, sell, and/or adopt programs, products and services that will serve to create sustainable organizational growth.

For FREE you can have the opportunity to make your program, product or service stand out and go national. I bet every one of your AHECs has a product, curricula, resource guide or toolkit that's worth sharing and potentially selling, and would be beneficial for your AHEC colleagues. Don't miss out on this opportunity for FREE to highlight your work and perhaps earn revenue for your AHEC! Reserve your booth now for the NAO 2015 Business Summit.

I look forward to seeing you in Orlando soon!

NAO 3rd Annual Policy Briefing April 15, 2015

I'll be in Washington, D.C. next week with a number of the NAO leadership and Public Policy Committee colleagues making the rounds on the Hill and participating in NAO's 3rd Annual Policy Briefing on April 15th in the evening at the Capitol Visitor's Center. With your help -- by making calls to your Congressional Delegation -- many members and their Health Legislative Aides will be in attendance to learn of the importance and value of the AHEC program and NAO. I'll report back here next week as to the outcome of the event.

Tuesdays with Trachtenberg"

from 12:30-1:30 EST: Please dial in at

go. It's been lovely getting to talk with AHECers from all over the country-- a number of whom are new or I haven't yet met in person.
